About the service
What exactly is included in a deck build?
Footings, framing, the decking surface and railing where the grade calls for it, all scoped at the consultation and listed in writing on your quote.
Do you cover the whole Lakeshore Road region?
Yes — projects are scheduled across Lakeshore Road and the surrounding communities, with travel time factored into the consultation visit.
What decking materials can I choose?
Pressure-treated wood or composite boards; the consultation covers upkeep and finish trade-offs so you can decide what suits the yard.
How long does a typical build take?
A Standard Poolside Deck Build runs five to nine working days; the Premium Landscaped Surround Package typically adds two to four more.
Process & scheduling
How do I start a project?
Send a message through the contact form or call us; we reply within one business day to set up the on-site consultation.
What happens at the consultation?
We measure the yard and pool edge, review grading, and sketch deck shape and material options with you on site.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks is typical between a signed quote and the build start, more during the busiest spring and early-summer weeks.
What if the weather delays the build?
Framing and footing work pauses in heavy rain or frost; we reschedule the remaining days rather than rush the work.
Do I need to be home during the build?
Not for every day of it, but we ask that someone be reachable by phone in case a question comes up on site.
Pricing & payment
How are prices set?
The three services on our Services page are starting figures for a typical perimeter; a written quote follows the consultation once your yard has been measured.
What is your refund policy?

Can a project be cancelled after booking?
Yes — our Cancellation Policy sets out the windows and any applicable fees.
What payment methods do you accept?
E-transfer and cheque are both accepted; payment details are confirmed on the written quote.
Is the consultation fee applied to the build cost?
Yes — the Deck Design Consultation fee is credited toward the final build price if you proceed with a Standard or Premium project within three months of the visit.

Do you work with pool installers directly?
When a pool is newly going in, we coordinate the deck build timeline around the pool-shell contractor’s schedule.
Can I request a specific crew or site coordinator?
If you have worked with us before, let us know during booking and we will try to schedule the same lead carpenter where availability allows.
