Service & Installation Terms

These Service & Installation Terms expand on our general Terms of Use with the practical details specific to a deck and landscaped-surround build undertaken by Granite Cove Pools Ltd..

Site registration and assessment

Every project begins with a paid Deck Design Consultation, during which we record yard measurements, pool dimensions, grading and any buried utility markings you provide or that we arrange to have located.

Written quote

The quote sets out the service tier (Deck Design Consultation, Standard Poolside Deck Build or Premium Landscaped Surround Package), materials, approximate timeline and total price. Work begins only once the quote is signed.

Daily rate and scope changes

If you request work beyond the original quote during the build — additional decking area, an upgraded material, extra lighting points — we provide a written change order with the added cost before proceeding.

Payment schedule

A deposit secures your build slot; a progress payment is due once framing is complete, with the balance due at handover. Specific amounts and dates are set out in your individual quote.

Site access and deposit for materials

You agree to provide reasonable access to the yard during working hours for the scheduled build days. A material deposit may be requested for custom-ordered decking or stone before it is purchased on your behalf.

Pickup, delivery and site conditions

Materials are delivered directly to site by our suppliers. You are responsible for keeping pets and children clear of the active work area during construction for safety.

Damage and liability

We take reasonable care to protect existing landscaping, fencing and structures during the build and carry liability insurance; any damage caused by our crew is addressed under that coverage. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage identified and photographed before work begins.
